Insect nets - fruit cover

These fine-mesh nets have been specially developed to protect soft fruit against the spotted wing drosophila (Drosophila suzukii).
Spotted wing drosophila can cause serious damage to raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, cherries and grapes. This little vinegar fly can lay hundreds of eggs under the soft skin of ripening fruit. The larvae grow inside the fruit and cause it to rot.
The net's specific yarn thickness and mesh size keep out all harmful flies while providing optimum transparency and air permeability. Thanks to its strong quality and high UV stabilisation, the mesh can be used as a side panel in rain cover systems for many years.
